There are things in our families that happen, and we do not know why? Whether it’s an unspoken or spoken tradition, or just something that your family has done for many years that other families do not. After a holiday, we sometimes come out of those family gathers asking the question, why does my family do “this” or “that”. The same question can be asked about a family of faith and why we baptize and do the Lord’s supper.
