Have you ever had someone completely miss the point of what you were clearly trying to explain because they were stuck on one word that you had said at
the beginning? Same! These situations can be annoying because some people either intentionally or unintentionally have selfish hearing. In a similar fashion, James and John completely missed the point of Jesus clearly announcing His own death and resurrection.
